New Story Schools DuBois Holds Sensory Friendly Weekend

New Story Schools DuBois held a Sensory Friendly Fun Weekend for students, families, staff and community members on April 22-24th, 2022.
The weekend kicked off with a dinner at Hoss’s Family Steak ; Sea on Friday, where attendees enjoyed a dinner with friends and family in a private room. On Saturday a 5k run/walk and resource fair provided families with information and sensory-friendly activities for children. The resource fair offered local families a chance to get to know New Story Schools, as well as other resources in the DuBois area. There was a DJ, giveaways and lots of fun activities for all! Sunday wrapped up the Sensory Friendly Fun Weekend with two games of bowling at DuBois Bowling Lane.
